Ovaboost Review

As part of my baby goals, for the past few weeks, I’ve been focusing on losing weight, to help improve my overall health, diabetes, and pcos.

Thanks to FairHaven Health, I’ve been working on improving my pcos symptoms – lack of ovulation, specifically – with the help of their new product, Ovaboost. It’s no secret that I love FairHaven Health’s products, like the Ovacue and their line of fertility supplements, so I was really excited to get a chance to try one of the newest additions to the site.

Ovaboost is a daily supplement program that can assist female fertility and ovulation by:

  • improving egg quality
  • protecting eqq cells from free radicals damage
  • helping eggs produce energy needed for successful conception and implantation
  • promoting healthy ovulatory cycles

I’ve only been taking the supplements for a few weeks, so it’s still hard to say if they’ve made any changes to my cycle issues, but I’m hopeful that the combination of lifestyle changes and the addition of Ovaboost will help improve my cycle and help me ovulate. The supplements are made of vitamin E and folic acid; I’ve been told the latter is one of the best tools in combating pcos, so I was very happy to add Ovaboost to my daily regimen.

The only thing I wasn’t really thrilled with, is the fact that you need to take four pills a day in divided doses. I have a hard enough time trying to remember to take my meds in the morning and at night, so adding in two other times to my medication schedule didn’t last very long. By the end of the first week, I had forgotten half of the doses and switched to taking 2 pills, twice a day. Yes, it’s probable that the supplements work better in four separate doses, but it just wasn’t practical for me.

The supplements also have a very grassy smell and taste, which while wasn’t unpleasant, was considerably strong. I found that taking the pills with water left a grassy taste in my mouth for quite a while, butas long as I took the pills with a flavored drink, I had no issues.

Want to try Ovaboost yourself? A one-month supply is available from FairHaven Health for $28.95

Disclosure: I received a 1-month supply of Ovaboost in exchange for my honest review of the product. For more questions about Ovacue or other FairHaven Health fertility products, check them out on Facebook and Twitter

  1. When I was TTC for my oldest, the supplements they gave me tasted like rotting fish and I swore I’d never take them again! It’s nice to see there’s a more pleasant alternative.

  7. I’ve been using it for 2 or 3 weeks now and I think is doing something because I’ve been spotting after my second day on it but I haven’t really gotten my period so I don’t know whether to buy more or not :-/ (I have PCOS)

  8. So I was wondering how this is going? I take the fertilaid in hopes and have seen some difference, but haven’t considered this one.
