A few weeks ago, a friend of mine hosted a sex toy party at her house. And since the last one I’ve been to was the one I hosted three years ago for my bachelorette party, I was pretty excited to hang out with my girlfriends, eat junk food, and act like complete dorks to see who we could make blush first.
My friend had been going on and on about the party for weeks, telling us that the rep brings so many products and does a swing and pole demo, so we were all looking forward to having a good time (or laughing at each other for falling off of a stripper pole. Same thing, right?) Unfortunately, the original party rep had a family emergency and had to send another sales consultant in her place . . . who had the personality of a wet mop. Her lack of charisma was a total party buzz kill and I didn’t even feel bad when most of us left without placing an order.
