Sometimes, conversations about blogging can lead to strange shopping trips.
Which may or may not include buying lingerie with your cousin.
Before you start with the creepy comments (and start seeing a pattern about interfamily mingling in my recent posts), I was talking to my cousin about the correlation between blogging and working with brands, and had mentioned the blogger ambassador program from EdenFantasys.
While we were window shopping, my cousin made the comment that she actually prefers shopping for lingerie with a female friend as opposed to her significant other, because it’s pretty much like shopping for any other type of clothing. Men are pretty much ecstatic with whatever you’ve got on, because they’ve (hopefully) figured out where the evening is going to end. Female friends understand that lingerie is often times more about you feeling sexy and confident in how you look, and can give you an unbiased opinion about what will work for your body shape.
The other plus of shopping with female friends is hearing someone else tell you that you deserve to splurge on yourself a little every once in awhile. Or getting a boost of encouragement to buy the outfit you love, but don’t think you can wear.
What do you think – is it weird to shop for lingerie with your friends?
