Have you ever gotten so caught up in a book
that you’ve shunned your usual forms of interaction
(twitter, texting, facebook, speaking to other living, breathing creatures . . .)
and completely forget other important things in life
(brushing your hair, changing out of sweatpants, eating something more substantial than sugar-free vanilla pudding . . .)
like, not posting on your blog for over a week?
My bad.

At least you’re reading. I’m mostly just slacking.
I have not getten a Kindle for exactly this reason. In fact I try to read mostly non-fiction because when I get sucked into a book, nothing gets done.
I’ve gotten off my reading kick because I started my pysanky. One addiction for another. But yes – I do tend to get so caught up that everything else falls aside.
So… what’s this book about?
It’s a historical non fiction about a woman’s life during the 1200s in England under the rule of King John. I am reading it to do a review for another website, so I’ll be sure to post the link for my full review when it’s up.
Um, do you know that I thought the saying was “my bag” throughout most of my “cool” days (teenage / early college??). What a dork I was.
Anyway, get posting, woman!
